Time to start using their "nuclear option" to our benefit.

They will regret changing the Senate rules. It's gonna bite them in the ass, eventually, when they lose control.

It's time to clean house of non-conservative Republicans.

It's also time for the states to band together and put the Fed Govt. in it's place.

2014 should be interesting.

If you change them illegally once, you might as well again.

I am unsure about this bill. Why even tacitly admit the Feds can have control over this? It's more complicated than simply "I can go into any state now".

Reid likely won't let it be heard, and if he does, he has some long term plan to screw us

It isn't possible to use the "nuclear option" against the dems as long as they hold the committees.  The simple majority rule only benefits the party in power, as the party in power still decides what bills get a vote.  Reid says no vote, there is no vote.

Everybody say thanks to the pot-heads in CO for keeping this jackass in the senate.

But if the Rs take the majority the dems will scream like little girls if the Rs use the simple majority rule against them.  Fortunately for the Ds, the Rs are nutless and therefore unlikely to use it.  They wouldn't want the media saying bad things about them you know.

And of course it doesn't matter at all as long as hussein is in the white house.  And then hitlery after that.

The Dems will use it to shut down CCW for most citizens. Expect the worst restrictions from each state, so every state is 'on the same page'. Mandatory 16 hour training with marksmanship requirement from Illinois, registration like New York, May-Issue with demonstrable need like New Jersey, $340 fee like New York, with $100 extra for fingerprinting like NY, Cali and Illinois PLUS im sure a 'small' extra fee to cover the new Fed administration. It will end up costing the average citizen a grand, and virtually all their privacy, just to use their 2nd amendment RIGHTS, and thats before buying gear. Not too many can afford that in Obamas depression.

American Rifleman has a GREAT "standing guard" article in their February issue about the nuclear option. It is amazing what feinstein and obama had to say about the proposed loss of the filibuster in 2005. feinstein said "ENDING THE FILIBUSTER WILL TURN THE SENATE INTO A BODY THAT COULD HAVE IT'S RULES BROKEN AT ANY TIME BY A MAJORITY OF SENATORS  UNHAPPY WITH ANY POSITION TAKEN BY THE MINORITY. IT BEGINS WITH JUDICIAL NOMINATION. NEXT,WILL BE EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS. AND THEN, LEGISLATION. obama is quoted "ALTERATION OF THE FILIBUSTER RULE WOULD CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE SENATE FOREVER" creating what he called "MAJORITARIAN ABSOLUTE POWER...THAT'S JUST NOT WHAT THE FOUNDERS INTENDED". Please read this article, it's a good one!!
