Harpoon 0
What's the point? The muzzle blast must be obscene and you've castrated it power wise. Don
Bvamp 604
oh man tony. now I gotta move so that I can start buying your stuff. you need to FA it and show us a video. goddamn.
dodgeturbointerceptor 1
That is a bit the wrong way on the creativity scale IMHO .308................ Even for a .223/7.62x39............ but .308.......... I almost that I was looking at a JOEKEN thread for a second. We know you do good work Tony. Let's see less of this "art". And see something you would want to use/show. Looks photo"chopped" as a joke. Edited January 14, 2006 by dodgeturbointerceptor
Bvamp 604
put some krink wood on it and the krink sights/FH. it would be bad assed. even if its a waste of powder, that bullet's gotta fly faster. tony, can you chronograph a mag for us?
AK-treO8 0
Dang Tony, that was fast. Are you sure that's even 8", it looks less. That's going to be a fire breathing dragon handful...looks fun!

AK-treO8 0
I think Tony just has a thing for shorty monster's. You should check out his 8" S-12 conversion on his website...wow. Way cool dude, you must have a hell of a setup to be cranking out 'lil beauties like that. Let me guess, you have more than a dremel, power drill and some files and a vice in your garage/shop to work with...right? Edited January 14, 2006 by AK-treO8
dinzag 31
.......so, rather then leave the thing stock, I tuned it up a bit. I'd say!!!! If that's real...It's gotta burp one helluva fireball!!
ironhead7544 35
Try it with Silver Bear ammo. My 16 inch throws a huge fireball and Id like to see what comes out of that one.
TonyRumore 1,332
The only time you worry about having a "useful purpose" for one of your guns, is when you don't own enough. I shot the thing last night. It ran good.

Wolverine 10,360
Tony, How's your shoulder today? I own a couple of .308's so I am familiar with the round. That badboy of yours must have some serious recoil, huh? Wolverine
TonyRumore 1,332
Even though it is lighter then a standard rifle, the bullet is not going very fast, so recoil actually seemed pretty light. A buddy of mine has an HK51 with a 8.5" barrel and also a full size G3, and the 51 is easier to control then the longer G3, albeit the muzzle blast is extreme. What really knocks the shit out of you, is that damn 8" S-12 with 3" magnums in it. It's punishing. Just a side note here. I was talking with Bill Fleming (his mini gun was used in Terminator II, Predator, etc) and he told me the hand held MiniGun used in Predator was unshootable (due to recoil) as a handheld gun with live ammo. But, with 9" barrels on it as used in Best of the Best III, he said it wasn't bad shooting it with live ammo. Dodge, I knew what you meant........you're right, it has no useful purpose other then entertainment. However, I only shoot for fun myself, and it's guns like these that have no practical use, that seem the most fun to shoot for some reason. That's good enough for me. BattleRifleG3 16
Hey, Tony does serious creative R&D and I'm sure that, in addition to just the fun of it, there will be something learned from this project.

raygun 0
all you need now is a flash enhancer for that thing, and it will be perfect. have you figured out a price for the krink conversion? I've got a few things on my list ahead of a .308 krink, but it definetly being added to my long list of planned NFA weapons.
