patriot 7,197
Thanks! My build thread is here: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/89010-pedro-gorosabel-10ga-build-thread/ I'm glad you like it! Before I re-stocked it, no one had much interest in it. Now, re-stocked, EVERYONE wants to shoot it.

Spacehog 2,219
Here is the almost finished product. Still have the final wax and buff to do, but the grain is beautiful:
brad cole 65
This grain in the wood has to do with the way it was cut , it is called quarter sawn, resulting in tighter grain and cross grain, it takes the wood to another level. Some people call it tiger stripe etc. regardless it looks beautiful, and its subtle classy look is timeless on your fine firearm.

Spacehog 2,219
It's really begging for matching stock and PG...It's on the radar GunFun. Eventually, I will get around to it. There is some equipment I still need to pick up, notably a good bandsaw. Holding out for an older 70s model that is built like a tank. Still scouring craigslist. I have three more refinish projects to do for local friends, so that it going to keep me busy for a while. Eventually, I want to make a correct AK furniture set out of Marblewood. I think it would look awesome finished out natural:
