Fahrenheit 0
So looking at CSS website they have a Billet trigger guard that incorporates the grip mount. Do you think this is stronger or weaker then the more traditional stud you drop down?
mancat 2,368
the stamped trigger guard will bend when you tighten down the PG. I knocked mine back into shape, tempered it, but it still bent some. I'm either going to throw on a billet guard, or rivet on a standard one, since I have a spare AKM guard/latch
Inspector 12 37
I went with the billet one when I converted mine. No regrets at all. Works very well, mounts solidly and doesn't move.
Boyd Crowder 16
I used the billet TG from Dinzag with the integrated PG nut on my .308 and it's worked great, no complaints after 1000+ rounds.
