Vern 0
I have a browning hi-power practical in 9 mm. does the browning hi power 40 s&w use the same frame? Or in other words can I convert a BHP 9mm to 40 s&w by changeing the barrel slide and recoil spring, or are the frames different?
pesterbox 0
Vern, I THINK the switch would work, but if I was you I would not sink any money into it. The reason being, I had the MK 111 in .40 S&W and with the recoil spring that they had to use, it was almost impossible to cock the pistol without taking half of your hide off. Really, it was so hard to cock, that I sold it, and I love the Browning 9mm model. Hope this helps.
