100,000 Rounds = Mentally Unstable in Kalifornia

^They arriving in Texas in droves.

My future sister-in-law is in Houston... Sorry about that.

I wonder, at what point does fire code come into play...

That's a question I've often asked myself but I'm too scared to hear the answer. My goal is to put a shed, with no permanent power, about 100' from the house for ammo storage and reloading... ahhh... some day!

I am sure homeowners insurance would have a problem with storing 100k rounds in the basement if one were silly enough to inquire.

Funny enough, NRA insurance covers ammo (I'm kinda foggy on that one, but I'm pretty sure I asked and they said yes), all mags, and accessories installed on guns. 100k rounds of most ammo calibers (assuming a minimum average value of $.25/rd and probably way more than that to be honest) would be about 1/4-1/3 of the value of my house anyhow so protecting the "precious metals" would actually be pretty important to me. Even ALL of my cars don't add up to a $25k value. wink.png
