Cobra 76 two 2,677
Does anyone here have any info or experience on this Turkish made EAA imported 12 ga pump? Are they worth a damn? This one is almost new and has already broken where the forearm attaches to or interacts with the slide mechanism. The small plastic piece shown in the pics is the POS that broke off. I've been told these parts are unavailable. Why? Is there anyone who has one or has seen this problem. Otherwise it has a nice feel to it and seems like it could actually be a pretty cool shotgun. Takes Winchokes just like my MKA 1919. Stupid as hell design though, that thin plastic part should be steel reinforced at the very least.
patriot 7,197
The part doesn't look like much. Could you fab up a new one out of steel? Get it running then sell it and get an 870.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Hoping to find a replacement forearm and if they haven't upgraded to a steel reinforced one then reinforce it myself with sheet metal or thin stainless. Trouble is you can see how thin the edges are where it used to be attached to the rest of the HG. A friend of mine bought this shotgun used as is for $200 and is hoping it can be salvaged to work for home defense. Yeah I tried to sell him on a S-12 or Vepr but he has a very small budget to work with.
