Albe 2
The trigger has an issue that could cause an accidental discharge. Affects rifles produced from 2006-2014 http://xmprecall.remington.com/ to check if yours is affected. They will send you a box and prepaid shipping. Mine is on the recall list. WhiskeyMinion 300
I guess it's good they're finally admitting there's a problem. Two years ago while bear hunting I switched off my safety and the rifle discharged. Needless to say it scared the bear and myself and the bear ran away. Remington told me they hadn't really seen this before and fixed my rifle for me. I sold it as soon as I could700's used to be a good gun, seems like they are made pretty cheaply now. Got my eye on a Tikka T3 now
XdamagedX 248
wasn't there an hour long documentary on this a couple years ago?
Yoshi 87
Thats what you get for living under a rock.... I wasn't thrilled with the rep on the phone, but then again I'm a customer service guru. I'm nervous about how long they are going to have it for. Fingers crossed turn around isn't ridiculous.
