Squeaky 135
Hello everyone: If you don't mind propaganda, this is an interesting history of Russian artillery I found on youtube. Seems like they have a cannon or gun or rocket for everything. If it isn't big enough to do the job, don't get into a years-long overbudget defense program ... just make it bigger! The artillery museum in St. Petersburg seems to be proof the Russians don't scrap anything. This begins with the days of Peter the Great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=785mZM2h4ns

Squeaky 135
@Arik : I simply assumed much of this is propaganda by nature since most of it was filmed during Soviet times. If not, cool. My overall point being there's really cool footage of weapons in action I've never seen. I admit I admire how the Russians have so many historical artifacts in their museums. Arik 565
No. Its like a History channel thing. They are talking about how it was invented, why, where it was used, the effect it had and theyre using footage of said artillary. This isnt "my gun is better then your gun". Yes, they have to use footage from ww2 and the cold war. Hard not to.
