Its available at sgammo. Its a bit expensive, but if you compare it to other reloadable options its really not all that bad. If they come out with an expanding (hp/sp) version i may be in for it and some reloading equipment that caters to copper bullet manufacture (if they even make that for home reloaders). This is not a solid copper bullet/projectile, you're paying out the ass for the brass and easily re-loadable boxer primed cases. And for the primer & case mouth being sealed for long term storage. There are three RA offerings, progressing in price. Steel, berdan, non-sealed Steel, berdan, sealed Brass, boxer, sealed 180 round range pack - 7.62x39 - Copper Non-Magnetic FMJ - Brass Case - Red Army Standard Ammo made in Bosnia by Igman - AM1930A 123 grain Flat base bullet similar to M67 ball non-corrosive priming. Lacquer sealer primer pocked and case mouth sealed with a black lucas. I have reloaded some of it just to see what I can do. So far I cant seem to get much better than the current production steel case....at least not enough better to warrant reloading for the x39..so it will sit until I need to reload for it! As Chile said it basically sounds like non-corrosive M67. I bought a bunch of Hungarian MFS brass cased FMJ a few years back. Great ammo, at the time it was the same price as todays steel cased. blkgunlvr 31 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Share Posted April 20, 2014 The local gunshop had most of a lot of virgin brass and 123 grain bullets show up last year and I bought it because I had just purchased a Remington mini-mauser in 7.62x39. I loaded a couple hundred rounds but the expander ball in my Lee dies didn't open the case mouth up enough for seating the flat base bullets and it was pita to get them seated without collapsing case shoulders. I finally realized it was more effort than it was worth with a shop full of mil-surp and finally shelved the components for future needs. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I've since purchased the Lee universal flaring die and have used it successfully loading other flat-base bullets, so it should be handy when I try to load 7.62x39 again.
