Sdustin 578
Sweet now if they get on the ball and import some before Obummer bans imports.
uzitiger 193
It would be nice to see an American subsidiary making them here to avoid the import restrictions.

mancat 2,368
it's been mentioned before but there is a 16" barrel version of the Vityaz (Saiga-9) that appears to be designed specifically for export to the US, but Legion USA has stated that at this time it's not approved for import by the ATF - typical. LuPiN8oR 333
It really does baffle me that it hasn't been made available in the us... they let saigas come in every other damn caliber, why would they have sand in their vag over a 9mm version?

Sdustin 578
I don't see how the atf would deny importing these unless they are just dragging their feet till obummer signs an order stopping imports.
XD45 7,124
KC should set up an assembly plant here like IWI did. Take out the middle man.
mancat 2,368
I agree, they've had years to do something like that and do an end run around the import regs. Maybe now the company is being run by smarter people. ak monty, it mayb be a case of one simply not being submitted to the ATF. I also don't know if there is a sporter version made to comply with the ATF "sporting purposes" regs.
