h3ws12hi 15
Somethign I gleaned during my perusings(on the web) for each to ponder. I know it is hard for some on the left to understand but gun ownership is a vital part of the culture and lifestyle of the majority of Americans- just like drug and alcohol are a vital part of the liberal culture. The left is sure not going to allow us to bring back prohibition even though many times more people die each year from alcohol related violence, disease, and accidents than the number who die from guns. Same here, we are not going to let the left or anyone take away our right to own firearms for hunting, recreational shooting (kind of like the left's recreational drinking or drug use), self-defense or WHATEVER purpose we see fit. That's just how it's going to be. Does this mean I'm a conservative liberal? We are all but independant States brought together by a common bond...our appreciation of fine machinery and things that go BOOM... Sdustin 578
I see alcohol nearly as big a part of american culture as guns. I believe in freedom. Freedom to drink, smoke, and take or inject drugs if thats what you want to do.
ktcm7271 999
Guns, alcohol, and drugs. Add heavy metal, filthy humor, porn, and violent sports to that list and you've got most of the stuff I like! (Red meat, and bacon too)

pjj342 632
I see alcohol nearly as big a part of american culture as guns. I believe in freedom. Freedom to drink, smoke, and take or inject drugs if thats what you want to do. I also believe in total freedom. The abridged version we currently live under has made more problems than it has solved. People get kidnapped and locked up for drugs every day, and other people get locked up for having empty shotgun shells in the wrong city. If we were truly free, we would never be arrested or punished without first victimizing another person. Our current system of predetermined thought crimes has created a corrupt police state and corporate prison system based on profit, not public well being. I know it is hard for some on the left to understand but gun ownership is a vital part of the culture and lifestyle of the majority of Americans- just like drug and alcohol are a vital part of the liberal culture. This statement is just silly. What is the advantage of blindly classifying an entire group of people? It does nothing but sully your point with erroneous nonsense. There are plenty of accurate and damning things to say about leftys who want to take our freedoms away.

We already have cage fighting(bloodsport), kardashians(beastiality), and Cosmos(christians fed to lions), all televised and pretty popular. I would have to say that the kardashians have contributed more to the degradation of the collective intelligence than any other show in history.
