Case dimensions are close enough to identical that you can use the same dies to load either case. Only real difference is max pressure - and AK rifles are overbuilt enough that a small difference in pressure isn't a problem.

Yes, numerous responses from importers including RWC, ackowledge they will, and it seems the consensus is they are marked .223 for importation "sporting" reasons only, what ever the hell that means...


The most trite and tired notion among AK owners, is that you somehow need to keep or make your AK proper, correct, or original. This is America not the Combloc, we don't need to conform, assimilate, or suckle the teat of those who would oppose original ideas.
