I'm waiting for someone to build an AR with a charging handle on the handguard, so I can rack it the same way as my MKA. ;)

Having it a few inches further forward than my regular charging handle doesnt make it worth switching for..

I would prefer the same as well, but with this at least you can still maintain sight picture.

For those 015.gif  moments when you forget to charge the gun.

Check with Nick Kalishek (fastshooter3).  He makes his own AR upper and can modify it to a right side-charger.  Nick is a grandmaster IPSC shooter, has won a number of big 3-gun matches including thee CMMG twice, and is  a machinist....my brother and I both have his uppers and they are the most accurate you can find...just my opinion.
