Trespasser 7
I've tried searching, but I cannot find if there is a good way to adjust the elevation with the stock Saiga 12 (IZ-109) iron sights. Can the front post be pressed up or down?
Mullet Man 2,114
They are fixed sights. Typical shotgun type bead sight in the front and v notch pistol sight rear. If you want elevation our windage adjustable sights, you will need an aftermarket FSB like Dinzags or a red dot, or some sort of rail setup with sights. Trespasser 7
I am looking more for a method to zero the iron sights rather than adjust for elevation without tools.
Mullet Man 2,114
Well your OP said adjust for elevation by moving the bead up or down. You don't "zero" traditional shotgun sights. You pattern the shot with choke selection at various distances. You might be able to drift the rear sight for windage. But they are known for being extremely stubborn and not easily budged. If you really want adjustable sights, your best is aftermarket.
Trespasser 7
Thanks for the replies. It looks like I'll have to get aftermarket irons or add an optic to zero in slugs.

Gzus Kryst 53
The rear ghost ring replaces the stock rear sight I assume? small picture can't really tell
DavidQ 170
Yes you have to punch it out. Or if you can't, you have to Dremel it out like I had to do. I think it is an awesome setup for the saiga 12.
