TonyRumore 1,332
I have a Saiga 7.62x39 that someone hack-sawed the barrel off at 17". I plan on cropping it back to 16.1" and opening up the gas ports to run. What barrel length did this gun originally have on it? What barrel length's were imported by EAA in 7.62x39 models? I appreciate any help guys. Tony Rumore Tromix Corp
IndyArms 10,186
From what I gather, they were brought in in 16" and 20" lengths. ( give or take a few tenths of an inch one way or the other...) Owning both of these, I can say with some certainty that they did!! Whether there were any OTHER lengths I have no idea... What I REALLY would like to get my hands on is a .223 Saiga in 20" barrel length!!!
vjor 2
Like Indy says, 20 and 16 inch barrels for 7.62x39
Old SF MJT 7
All three versions of the Saiga, 7.62X39, 5.56X45 & 7.62X51 were all offered in 16" & 20" (or so) by EAA, and I think that the new importer is supposed be doing the same. Or, so goes the rumor!!!
