Zebraman 0
Does anyone know if the O.D. of the MKA's barrel is big enough to have the barrel shortened and threaded for Saiga external chokes or muzzlebrakes and still be legal?
KIRCH76 12
From what I have read the the barrel is not thick enough but you can get a Cadiz gun works adapter and thread on any saiga break you want.
james lambert 3,059
The mka uses win chokes All of the best chokes and muzzle devices are available in that pattern.
gose 17
The mka uses win chokes All of the best chokes and muzzle devices are available in that pattern. Are there any decent muzzle brakes that allow you to change chokes? I havent really been able to find anything. I'd buy one or two in a heart beat

I want something like a GK-01 with replaceable chokes...
toothandnail 275
The comp/brake is further back, still uses any win choke. No muzzle comp/brake works on a SG, not enough gas pressure to make it effective. For a comp/brake to work it must be a mid barrel one

Jerry has some big-ass comp on the end of his Mossberg as well, doesnt he?
DavidQ 170
I have a css gk-01 on my s12 and noticed felt recoil was reduced by maybe 40%. It's almost like recoil is a push instead of a punch. But it all depends on what ammo you are using also.
Zebraman 0
I have one of the Molot GK-01 brakes, atleast the American version. You have to use a screw in choke adapter made by Cadiz Gun Works. This choke and brake need to be generously loctited in or it will turn and unscrew itself. This is the reason for my original post. I cannot change the chokes as the situation requires in 3 gun matches.

compshootfl 40
I used the Tom Cole adapter and put a JT Enterprises muzzle brake on....I saw about a 40% reduction in recoil and lift. I am a believer now.
