KennyFSU 249
More like a Frankengun since it has a High Standard slide but I've always loved the hooked trigger guard and finger groove on the frames; after a decade of searching I finally found one. Too bad it may be impossible to get a new Safari slide since their master 1911 'smith recently passed away and all handgun operations (Oly Arms) have ceased. james lambert 3,059
Those frames were made for Safari by Caspian. Back in the early days of USPSA , I built many race guns with those frames. Great quality. good feel
KennyFSU 249
It feels very solid and more comfortable than my Springer. Luckily the slide to frame fitment is very tight and it's a great shooter.
magsite20 1,664
oh great now you've done it! doing a build on one of those frames has been on my to do list forever, and I'd just about forgot it. now it's all coming back to me and back on the damn list. Nice find hope you enjoy it.
