camel 0
Has anyone ever done it? A somewhat functional traditional hunting stock on a Saiga with the trigger moved forward? Not thumbhole, skeleton or a pistol.
SGL 530
You're going to run into the issue that forced the Russians to move the trigger back in the first place. You'll have a hard time reaching that forward trigger without a pistol grip as your hand will be all the way back on that goofy stock instead of wrapped around the pistol grip where it should be. IndyArms 10,186
So what you are trying to accomplish is pretty much the same thing as a VEPR-hunter... Is that correct??? They made it work...
Spacehog 2,218
Damn you Indy!! I am trying to forget about that gun. Next you'll be throwing up pics of Super VEPRs as well.

camel 0
So what you are trying to accomplish is pretty much the same thing as a VEPR-hunter... veprhunter.JPG Is that correct??? They made it work... The trigger group doesn't look like its as forward placed as an AK or converted Saiga. Am I wrong?
IndyArms 10,186
correct. The trigger group is even with the rear of the dust cover, like a factory saiga. Still... you asked for monte carlo stock... you got one. LOL ( yeah, yeah, I know it isnt with the trigger group moved forward!) As far as doing it with a CONVERTED saiga... or an AK... yeah... it would be a stretch for your finger. But yes, you COULD do it... Just wouldnt be really all that comfortable to shoot

Spacehog 2,218
I'll trade you a VEPR 5.45 for your Saiga M CH:)
thebuns1 4,323
I'll trade you a VEPR 5.45 for your Saiga M CH:) The bad thing is that its not an M. Its a plain Saiga with an '06 mark and a 20" bbl with no dimples. Its a keeper.
