RobRez 1,895
The lovely lady and I both drew Buck and Doe Antelope tags this year! Hopefully we will bring home 4 Antelopes this October. She uses a Bolt action Weatherby in .223, and I use a Bolt action Weatherby in 30-06. She is pretty good, usually a heart or neck shot, I need to be precise also, as a 30-06 can ruin a lot of meat on a lil Antelope. Last season she made a heart shot @ 60-80 yds....the Lope ran 40yds with half of a heart!!! Mine was a solid chest shot @ 420yds and dropped it on the spot. It's a fun Family outing with kids too. The Nephew will be 12 this season and hunting for the first time, although he has been going with us the past several years. Wall tents and beer, so not exactly "roughing it." Whoooop! I can't wait. Scouting Elk this weekend.
