Many fewer of them were made. Rarity doesn't necessarily mean value - the 19" guns have always been more popular. It's even possible you could find someone with a 24" gun who would swap straight for a 19" gun - someone might have gotten a 24" gun because that was all they could find.

Or have your barrel tapped for screw chokes and buy a barrel extension.

Factory barrel extensions arn't exactly easy to find either. So the barrel would have to be threaded for a Remington or Winchester internal choke. If you can find someone who is willing to do it.
