I decided to paint the ugly brown furniture on my Daisy 880 flat black today, does that count?

:haha2::what::haha2:

Just didn't look tacti-cool like this......  parts are drying in the garage.

Edit: Just having fun with this post.... not trying to take anything away from Spacehog.

        His work is outstanding on that gun (and the house).

.

Just send it to me Spartacus...I'll class it up for you with some Rustoleum, stain, and a new application technique I am working on with scotch tape and maxi-pads :)

I have been working on refining the technique and trying some new things. Many have asked about doing the slab side Tapcos. Thought I would update the topic and post a few more pics of new projects:

The biggest change to the process is to use acrylic water based paint for the base color. It is unaffected by the stain application and is offered in far more colors to custom match the lighter tones in the wood furniture set you are matching the magazine too.

Here are a couple pics of the mags with the firearm furniture they were created to match:

And JDeko wished that they made a matching mag for the IZ433, so I played around with and SGM 10 rounder and came up with this:

Was going for a magwell type of look because the 10 rounders are long to begin with, but the 8's completely done would look pretty good and unique.

If anyone wants any of the "recipes", let me know and I will post them.
