I've had a few nice drives into my hunting areas in our higher elevations (7,000-8,000ft.) and I've seen a lot of healthy Grouse up top! Birds about the size of chickens in hunter friendly terrain. Looking foreword to September! Sorry, no pics.

Cool our lodge starts the turkey shoots about the end of September so we'll both be out with our shotguns hunting. I'll be at an elevation of about 7 or 8 feet with my 36 inch bull barreled bolt action 13 lb card shooter gun over a rail with a $1.00 Bloody Mary. Ah the spirit of the hunt.

Came across a few more Grouse again this weekend. Smaller, at lower elevation, but good to see. We've had a seemingly "record year" with mountain berries of all kinds, so lots of food for them this year.
