Things appear to be working out

Question

By the good grace of an upper power, I received my parts back from Paul yesterday.  Pics attached to confirm.  He included a sincere sounding note, gas port gauges, and a sticker.  This REALLY made me day!  Now the million dollar question, why am I the first to receive their parts?

I have made a pretty hard effort in getting my parts back.  I sent Paul boxes to ship my parts back on two occasions… once with a check for money to ship them and once with a prepaid label so he could just pack and ship them free to him.  I will note my check was NOT cashed, and the prepaid label was NOT used.  Paul finished my parts (they look AMAZING) and shipped them back to me on his own dime.  I believe Paul is a good guy deep down and really did hit some troubles that turned this situation bad for all of us.

I am local to the Salem/Portland area, so I filed a police report in Salem.  An officer was actually able to reach Paul via phone and spoke with him.  I don’t know what the phone number was, but it was not the (971) or (503) number posted on here.  At Paul’s request, the officer could not release the number to me.  Paul said he had had a rough year and was going through tough times.  He said my parts were about half done and would have them done in a about a week and a half.  That was about a month ago.

A couple of weeks ago I actually went to the Molalla address that was posted on here and talked with a fellow who claimed to be Mark Pawloski but did not know of a Paul Pawloski.  I did that about a week and a half ago.  The man didn’t sound like Paul in the Youtube videos, but did sound like the voicemail greeting on the (971) number.

I make the note that I shipped my parts to Paul 6/25/13, so I am not near the front of the line.  I think Paul got scared that I was involving the authorities and was actively looking for him.  I am extremely happy to have my parts back but very perplexed why I got my parts before anyone else has (at least before anyone that posts on here).  Paul obviously can perform work now, and his note indicates he can finish the workload he has.

I am sorry to say I have had no contact with Paul since June of 2013, so I cannot offer any assistance to anyone trying to contact him.  With this, all I can say is Paul still has the parts.  It sure seems like he is a man of his word that he wants to make good on his promises.  The parts returned are mine.  I know this by the serial on the bolt and carrier but also because I custom profiled my hammer to function with my LRBHO.  After installing the internals, it test cycles and fires on snap caps.

I believe Paul has everyone’s parts still and has the capability to finish them.  I think he was scared that I might get to him, so he finished my parts and got them to me.  I thank him gratefully for that, but plead him to make good with everyone else as soon as he can before he gets into any trouble.  Another note I will make it that I never bad mouthed Paul on the forums or left him any nasty messages.  All the voicemails, emails, and letters I sent were polite and professional.  That may have played to my advantage; acting threatening and childish usually doesn't get you anywhere in life anyhow.  If the bickering and name calling on here stops... maybe Paul will feel more obligated to help everyone else out.  Could be a combination of things, but it worked for me, I got my parts back from Paul. Finished.

I can say from experience that being a moderator is not easy. I did it in a forum that was a piece of cake compared to this one and it was still hard work. Being a moderator here and even semi-patient

I was 1st on the list I had the RSB, I'm happy to report I received my parts today as promised.

Drove up and had a great visit with Shannon from Cobra's Custom and left my parts #001 in his very capable hands to get done like they should be. I saw and handled a lot of his work that he did on an

Possibly last post... Ever.
My voice has been removed.
Everything requires mod approval, therefore I've quit even reading this internet forum. So long as I require mod approval, I have no voice.
I give up.
Okay. I suck a whole bag of dicks.
Anything I say falls through, apparently, so what's the point of saying anything? I'm just going to look like a liar.
This sucks, but over a year after my business crashed, I've come to the realization i'm bankrupt.

Contact  Oregon Dept. Of Justice at xxxxxx. I have an appointment with her on Tuesday, March 10th, at 1 pm. At that time, I'll be turning all info, and the vast majority of parts over to her. She'll need current contact info. Between now and then I'll get everything I know of together to give to her department
I lack the funds to ship anything, and have severely limited internet access, so cannot respond to most inquiries.
I will not be relinquishing Steve Rosenberg's many sets (the half-assed FFL who has always claimed my work as his own & has made ens of thousands of dollars off me) due to the arrest warrant out of NC. It's a non-extradition warrant for "theft by deception" even though I never intended on deception, so regardless of how long it takes, I must complete the parts.
Eventually, I'll come on under a different name and release Glassbolt's 14 step sequence, so ya'll can do it yourselves.
My deepest apologizes to you all.
I never claimed to be a businessman, nor did I ever claim to be mentally stable. Those who know me here, know I'm neither. I'm just a guy who's borne from a very long line of engineers and can work steel and combine industrial processes like very few out there.

I really AM sorry how this all worked out, guys.
I only started the business, because Shannon pissed me off after I gave him a few golden pro-tips, then he spit in my face, so I figured i'd show him what real workmanship was... He's since greatly improved..
My ego took over when I saw what others were producing, and I was appalled that they called it gunsmithing. Pride comes before the fall, and I can't even review the posts here, as they just reinforce my failure.
That said, all parts still exist.

My deepest apologizes.
Peace and grace...

Yes... for a moment, I had it all... But as the song goes, I fucked it up.

Hello. I'm sorry contact has been rather non existent, and I realize this has just been too long.
I'm looking to return all customers pieces in whatever form of completion they may be in, then I will work on refunds if the work is not fully completed.
That said, the business is pretty much bankrupt until an income stream is established.
I am meeting with  Oregon DOJ to see if they can assist with shipping on Tuesday at 1300. She can be contacted atXXXXXX
If you would like to expedite shipping and you're open to it, you could email a usps flat rate shipping label for a legal size USPS flat rate envalope to paulyski@gmail.com,
I would suggest insuring the shipment for the price of a replacement firearm.  That's what I do. It works out to around $15-17 dollars total.
Once again, I do apologize for my inability to respond to all customers at this time, internet access is greatly limited, but email will be checked multiple times through the week to see what labels have been sent.
I am very sorry for the long list of inconveniences.
Paul.

I got a message from Pauly telling me he has a meeting with the Oregon DOJ. Looks like he is going to be shipping parts back finished or not.

I'm guessing he's only contacting a few people at a time, because he doesn't want to be flooded. Looks like we are getting our stuff back guys.

Thanks for the post Paul - I sent you a label for a medium flat rate box today.  I don't trust the envelopes because they're too thin and I don't want the charging handle to poke through.  Please ship in a Medium box.  My number is 679 and you have my:

bolt

carrier

1 axis pin

FCG

I just reread Paul's last 2 posts and am really crossing my fingers that this doesn't get messed up. He said he's not posting anymore, has limited internet access, abd that he's turning everything over to the OR DOJ. But he wants us to send him a label?

I just realized that too Sneak. However I did speak with the contact at the DOJ and I can confirm that she is working with Paul. In what way she did not say unfortunately.  I sent my label, figure 20 more bucks thrown at my saiga wont hurt. If you sent in a complaint on the DOJ website, it should only take a couple days for them to get back to you.

Yeah, I did this morning after I read it. Been putting it off since I'm numb to the whole damned thing. Another $20 into this black hole. I'll be glad to get it back though. Wish I'd've bought a VEPR12 way earlier.

Where logistics can slow a process down, Paul is accepting labels to skip that process. Lets hope that's what happens.

Why not send the prepaid shipping boxes to the lady at the DOJ? Pauly said he was gonna turn in all info and parts to her at the meeting. This is a win for you guys in getting your parts back so why take the chance sending Pauly another box  that might or might not get your parts back. Makes more sense sending the shipping box to the lady at the DOJ with your parts list and #s so she can make an inventory on who's parts went out and who's parts are still missing that Pauly might not have turned in. Just my opinion.

Because I don't have her info and any info Pauly provided in his post was edited at her request.  I'll gladly send her a label when / if she contacts me.  It's too late for me to get a refund for the postage...so I hope it works.

Good comment...Don't know bout the others, but I sent the label to Paul in case their was a chance I'd get my parts back faster. Either way it looks as though I'm getting my parts back so I didn't see any harm in it. Quicker or slower the main thing that I care about is just getting my parts back.

Attn Forum mods. I just spoke with the DOJ contact Paul Listed in his last response. I was informed that they would like that information, (name and phone #) removed as it is not public information.

Someone's edited out the phone number for the lady at the doj... That can't be good.

I just donated a dollar to RIF....

and sometimes folks add stuff, implicating people who have absolutely no involvement with said events and turning an already tragic situation into some doggone internet conspiracy...

The post was edited out as per Kanzaz request... no more, no less...Just not letting a bullseye be painted on mine or the forum's back again...
