k-var Corp 61
Trijicon RMR TRI-7000039 If your vision makes it difficult to see any front sight under any conditions- consider a red dot. They offer all the advantages of night sights, are focus free, and typically offer increased precision. Trijicon RMR red dots are becoming very popular for tactical handgun use. They are incredibly strong, light, reliable, and small enough that they don’t affect holster fit or weapon concealability. The Trijicon RMR06 features both auto and manual brightness control of the dot, and runs for 4 years on a single CR2032 battery. The 3.25 MOA dot is a good compromise size between speed and accuracy. You won’t notice the additional 1.2 ounces on your pistol, but you will definitely notice the improvement in your performance. Trijicon HD Night Sights You constantly train to focus on your front sight. Not your target, not your front and rear sights at once, your front sight only- that’s how you get good hits. If you’re ever involved in a gunfight, statistically it will be in low light. With conventional sights, you immediately try to focus on your front sight, but can’t because it’s invisible in low light. Your ability to deliver hits on target just drastically declined, and you took extra time as your mind struggled to cope with not being able to fight as you’ve trained- focusing on the front sight. This is not the moment to learn “point shooting”. You need night sights on every weapon you may one day have to fight with. Since your life is priceless, you might as well have the best night sights ever brought to market- Trijicon HD’s The front sight is ringed in orange photoluminescent paint so you can easily see it in bright sunlight. The rear sight is serrated on the back to reduce glare, and the tritium inserts are smaller and more muted than the front. The front of the rear sight is steeply hooked to facilitate one hand malfunction clearance techniques, and slide operation. These sights force you to focus where you should- on the front sight. With Trijicon HD’s, you can actually see it day or night! See more here: http://www.k-var.com/shop/Trijicon/
