308SAIGA 55
So I purchase a short time ago the above, see HERE, I am trying to remove my front sight which has a drift pin holding it inplace. Does anyone know what punch diameter I need, or what the pin diameter is? Also, when someone says remove the pin from left to right, am I looking down the barrel, or am I holding the pistol grip? Thanks guys & gals....
ChileRelleno 7,071
It is a roll pin. I do not know the size... Try searching over at www.rimfirecentral.com You are best off using roll pin punches to avoid damaging them. IIRC, they do not have to come out from a specific side. ChileRelleno 7,071
I would think the roll pin is likely 1/16" or 5/64" Edited September 12, 2014 by ChileRelleno
