scattergun10 125
Will the Vepr factory wood furniture fit universally between the different calibers or are some of them different?
Dracozny 11
They are all different in some way or another, especially when you throw in the slant back vs square back, and the Super, Pioneer and, Hunter models are all completely different.
Spacehog 2,218
You can swap the handguards out with no problem. The larger calibers 308 and x54 are cut a little different than the intermediate calibers. They can swap out, but you will have to remove some material from 308 or x54 where it inserts into the receiver when installing on the intermediates. So yes they can all be interchanged, but might require some fitting.
warthog984 1
I put my 5.45 handguard on my 308 with no fitting if that helps.
StealStick 17
There are differences in the slant cut stocks! The distance from the front of the stock to the trigger guard is different between the 7.62x39/223/545 and the 308/54R. I had purchased an extra set of stocks to do some home customization with and needed to specify the model of rifle. http://www.shoretactical.com/product_info.php/vepr-russian-stock-sets-p-47 Edited May 13, 2015 by WeaselNuts
