tbryanh 11
I recently picked up some csspec mags for my vepr .308. Really like them. The csspec website says saiga .223 mags are coming soon. Wouldn't mind picking some up. Anybody know when they might be available?
csspecs 1,987
Going to be a while. We do have a lot of stuff going on.. We have recently increased our press line to include a 350 ton press along with a 100 ton. Both are being worked on in the lull between Vepr-12 batches. I want to see how our M77 pattern magazine preforms as I would like to make a .223 magazine in a similar pattern.. Making just Saiga .223 magazines would be foolish, but making a semi universal .223 magazine pattern that can be made to fit in a dozen or so different firearms would be bordering on brilliant. metalgodlb 30
I would be interested in a multi platform mag for the .223 variants as well. Not to get off topic, but I can not wait for the m77 mags to be ready! On an impulse I paid way to much for an original 20 rounder so anything south of 60 will be awesome. Thankyou csspecs for providing your service, insight and military standard magazines. I hope your business thrives
mancat 2,368
Making a steel .223 AK mag to AK-74 trunnion/magwell specs should allow you to fit a wide range of .223 AKs, but some with AKM spec trunnion/magwell (i.e. Saiga) may be a little wobbly.
