negev5021 25
It seems like the fluted gas tube is extraordinarily difficult to seperate from the part that attaches it to the front trunion section - is there a special method to removal? Thanks!

negev5021 25
so I should not feel bad destroying the existing gas tube, right?
james lambert 3,059
it can be replaced with metric tubing minus the flutes
negev5021 25
Thank you Jim. I have a Tromix tube in hand and will hack at it now that I know what i am up against. I appreciate the assistance.
smb 3
Odd, mine was not welded on. Once I pressed the gas block off it easily removed from the rear sight block. Year of production differences, or vodka fueled Russian assembly error? Mine is an 07 and was NIB when bought it.
