My ex will also be in Dallas on business for four days (we have a four-year-old son together) so all of this is hitting so close to home for me. I feel like it's still not too late to contain this if the right measures were taken immediately and I mean now. Unfortunately everyone outside of this forum that I have talked to about this just seems to laugh it off or not take it seriously. The bulk of the American people have been coddled for so long that we no longer believe a threat on our own soil is possible. Even when the seed of this virus has been planted in the heart of the nation, it seems as though everyone just hopes it will all be taken care of. Anyway, this guy said that what we are seeing right now is not "TRUE EBOLA", as real and true Ebola is absolutely 100% fatal, without question, period, end of discussion. He said that true Ebola liquefies the human body within two days....period, the end. He also said that it was actually determined (in the 70s) that actual Ebola is known to be airborne. This is the description he gave of real Ebola; Ebola virus (EBOV, formerly designated Zaire ebolavirus) is the sole member of the Zaire ebolavirus species. He said that the disease we have been seeing in action for the past few months is actually a "sister" to Ebola, and the name he used for it is "Marburgvirus". He also said that this "Ebola sister" will be referred to as an Ebola strain, for whatever that is worth. He said that if true Ebola is ever let loose on the world that it will ABSOLUTLEY WIPE OUT MANKIND, because Ebola cannot be controlled by any conventional means known...period. UPS, FedEx, food, medicine, parts kits, ammo, computer components, cars, regular mail, oil ......everything. Then you make a no mans land full of mines all across the American/Canadian and American/S.American border. Every square inch. Thats the only wat you will stop it, or at least not get it here. Othrewise its only a matter of time. Someone with no symptoms goes to Sierra Leone, someone else flies to Egypt or SA. Lots of tourists in both places. There they come in contact with a Australian tourist who is heading home in 2 days and will have a business trip to America in a week. Dont let anything in or out....thats the only way. Breaking quarantine there equals shot in the head. Doing it here means "We are serious, you can't go to start bucks, please stay in your home". Hell they are out and about.
