Spartacus 1,619
Dont know AA do what ya can and hope God takes pity. Meanwhile this The money statement: "Meanwhile, up to 3000 US troops will be on the ground in a country in meltdown, amidst a deadly contagion, and with minimal self-protection or evacuation options, and potentially no clear plan in place for such a contingency." bloody hell The Russians used to send soldiers who didn't follow the party line to Siberia. Maybe our guys who got sent to Liberia answered "no" on the "Would you fire on US citizens?" question. It makes absolutely no sense for them to be there. >>They need to seize transport and get the fuck outta Dodge. I fear that may be their only way out. I can imagine lots of excuses for not getting them out of there. God bless them and I hope they stay safe. The USS Comfort needs to be deployed off our eastern seaboard and used as a quarantine/treatment facility, this shit needs to be kept out of our healthcare system, or we very soon will not have one at all. I can see a situation where (like in Africa) healthcare workers refuse to show up. As this spreads through our military ranks, we could loose the ability to defend ourselves, our beloved country could be in a real position of being taken from us, fuckme. >>we could loose the ability to defend ourselves Absolutely. Then the administration could welcome in foreign UN troops to "help us". Edited October 12, 2014 by Spartacus
XD45 7,124
I can't help but wonder... How will this affect the election? Will people see that the criminals in charge made this possible? Or will the sheep be so desperate for government "protection" that they vote to keep the criminals in office?

patriot 7,197
I believe that is the intent of all the machinations so far... Unchecked borders, unpunished criminals, no quarantine, militarization of CIVILIAN LEO, warrantless search and seizures, crashing the economy, ruining our health care system. All lead to martial law and the coronation of King DingleBarry. Edited October 12, 2014 by patriot

Dogster 577
Wife and daughter are nurses. According to them, there is currently an extreme shortage of saline solution for IVs. Hospitals and clinics are having a hard time even finding it. The Gov't recently approved the main supplier to bring in supplies from its other plant in Spain, until its new facility in the US is ready, late 2015. This solution is critical for treatment of ebola to restore hydration. Its also a necessity for treatments of a myriad of other problems. This does not bode well.

Is there really a shortage OR I'd it being stockpiled? You know, like the 653 quadrillion rounds DHS needed?I have been retaining my own IV fluid supply, catheters, and essentials. These are just as important as food, water and weapons.
sobrenegade 795
I just heard on the morning news that a nurse in Dallas was diagnosed with Ebola. I found this on Bing http://www.foxnews.com/health/2014/10/13/cdc-head-criticized-for-blaming-nurse-ebola-infection-on-protocol-breach/ Her dog's treatment will be less involved and quicker. I just noticed Jess started this yesterday, sorry for the ignorance. It will happen again. Edited October 13, 2014 by sobrenegade

SmilinEd 364
Couple days ago I stated the CDC Director of making SHIT up. My thought at that moment was that Director Frieden was implying the COSTS of not doing business with West Africa would be worse than the fear/outbreak of Ebola being here in the U.S. And that he CDC Director Tom Frieden would make any excuse ( making shit up ) NOT to ban travel from West Africa to the U.S. In his position of authority, (he answers to the American Citizen/ Taxpayer) He should be praised for keeping us safe if no outbreak happens after this or, He should be held accountable if this thing gets worse. I also checked Wiki for the GDP of those West African countries and they do less than the $40 billion in 10 yrs Edited October 13, 2014 by SmilinEd
