Nova had a special on this Ebola epidemic tonight. They think this strain got started by them eating bats…..Eating Bats.

Well how do you do.

We may be hunting bats and other delicious critters very soon.

I'm blown the fuck away at our gov't selling us out like this.  Corruption is nothing new and we all know that.  We have now reached a level in which I'm sitting back waiting for the shot heard round the world.

CDC Director is a COMPLETE MORON...!!!!!!

And a FUCKING BALDFACED LAIR... We cannot ban flights from these countries because Ebola will spread if we banned those flights.

150 ppl fly into this country a day from those infected countries and the U.S. Gov will not ban those...

Everyone of these officials are playing Russian roulette with the American ppl

He said that the measures that were taken for SARS were an "Economic Disaster", and there is no sense in banning flights and closing boarders, which would cause untold economic suffering. So it's really all about the money.

I got the feeling that I was listening to a fuken robot when that evil motherfucker was talking. Maybe this is the means for implementing bill ayers plan of population reduction tinfoilhat.gif

Sars vs Ebola, once again Apples and Oranges.

CDC Director said Sars travel bans cost $40+ billion in the global economy, Pacific Rim, and Middle East were the target areas.

There probably isn't $40 billion worth of business turned in West Africa in the last 10yrs.. CDC Director making shit up.

Plus::: In the SARS outbreak of 2003, about 9% of patients with confirmed SARS infection died.[5] The mortality rate was much higher for those over 50 years old, with mortality rates approaching 50% for this subset of patients.[5] By 2003, 8,098 people worldwide had contracted SARS, leading to 774 people dying.

With Ebola::::The disease has a high risk of death, killing between 50% and 90% of those infected with the virus.

OCT 2, 2014 The World Health Organization announced on Wednesday that the virus' spread shows no signs of slowing. Now, more than 7,157 people have been infected and 3,330 had died in Liberia Sierra Leone and Guinea as of Sept. 28

Probably isnt? So youre taking a guess and at the same time you know for a fact he's making this shit up?!?!

Dont get me wrong, I dont want Ebola or any other virus/desiese here but......

LIBERIA EXPORT rubber, coffee, cocoa, rice, cassava (manioc, tapioca), palm oil, sugarcane, bananas; sheep, goats; timber,

mining (iron ore), rubber processing, palm oil processing, diamonds.  Liberian export in 2013 $ 929,800,000

SIERRA LEONE EXPORT -
diamond mining; iron ore, rutile and bauxite mining; small-scale manufacturing (beverages, textiles, cigarettes, footwear); petroleum refining, 2013 $1.563 billion in export

GUINEA EXPORT - rice, coffee, pineapples, palm kernels, cassava (manioc, tapioca), bananas, sweet potatoes; cattle, sheep, goats; timber
bauxite, gold, diamonds, iron ore; alumina refining; light manufacturing, agricultural processing

Of course all this shit isnt coming here but it is going somewhere. Rubber to China which makes your tires....for example. 80% of diamonds go to industrial use. All this shit combined goes somewhere and if you close borders someone is going to feel it and eventually we will. 2 years from now we'll be crying about a tire deficit or something else that will be related to this. This is not 40 billion but this is the side effect of living in a global economy

I'm but saying close Liberia borders, just close ours to them. Simple enough.

We're willing to sanction Russian and Cuban exports over a few human rights violations but not allowing the spread of pandemic virus is just absurd, because it might inconvenience few people?

Then whats to stop them from going somewhere else and then coming here? Or having another person that had contact with them from coming here

There is no 100%,but rejecting Liberian passports would eliminate the major hot spot.

Of all the US cases, three cake directly from travel from Liberia, and the fourth from contact with one of them..the one case in Spain came from guess where? Pretty reasonable to conclude Liberia is the major source. If it's not so communicable then why is it spreading so quickly?

Shinny Object Department:

In the midst of the Ebola Comedy of Errors there is a little polio related virus making it's way though our children. The spread has been tied to populations of illegal immigrant children (kept secret) from South America. Well as much tying as is going to be allowed of course until the time passes anything can done.

My usual smart assed remarks fail to convey my utter contempt concerning this illegitimate government for this if nothing else.

If you are talking about the enterovirus currently making the rounds this is a gastrointestinal pathogen except every child that has been stricken with it manifests with respiratory symptoms and recently weakness and paralysis. In other words there is a neurological component.

This is totally unacceptable and f'ingly unbelievable that this shit is not being halted in its tracks.

Infected American should start a class action lawsuit against barry, holder DHS and congress for putting us all at risk and have them removed or jailed for compromising the safety of the sovereignty of the nation.

Rhodes, again consider the ethnicity of the infected vectors entering the country.

Ann Barnhardt brought up a very interesting point recently in regard to the plague bearer who just croaked in Texas.

"The AVERAGE I.Q. amongst Liberians is 67.  Anything below 69 is considered severe impairment. Only people who are profoundly mentally retarded, such as with severe Down Syndrome, have lower I.Q. scores, and many folks with milder Down Syndrome actually have I.Q. scores in the 70s and 80s.  What we are talking about in Liberia is the AVERAGE IQ of non-impaired human beings.  AVERAGE.  Which means, by definition, that half the populace is above 67, and half the population is below 67. Duncan, in all likelihood, got on a plane bound for Dallas because all was was thinking was “the Americans will save me”.  He gave NO THOUGHT whatsoever to the consequences of his actions or to other human beings, nor did any of his family members, because people who are dim-witted think only about themselves and the immediate gratification of their immediate needs and wants.

We see this manifested in our own western cultures, wherein people who OBVIOUSLY have lower I.Q.s are far, far more prone to crime – such as theft – and sexual promiscuity, as well as drug use, because they lack the powers of impulse control and consideration for other human beings that is an undeniable characteristic that goes along with an IQ that is several standard deviations “left” on the bell curve.  When all you are capable of pondering is yourself and your own physical pleasure, or the maintenance of your own life, when a person or people is so collectively impaired that thinking through the consequences of actions three or four steps ahead, or of thinking of how one’s actions will affect other people, is almost impossible, then Thomas Eric Duncans happen.

I wrote this not just to make the point about failing to acknowledge and deal with objective reality, and how that is now LITERALLY going to kill people, I wrote it to hopefully rehabilitate Duncan’s reputation.  I doubt he is a psychopath.  I doubt he is a terrorist operative.  I think he is just a sub-Saharan African who is probably teetering on the precipice of mental retardation, because that is what the odds clearly, clearly dictate.

People have been saying for years, “This political correctness is going to get us all killed.”

Yes.  Yes, it is."

Is it any wonder that they spread the damn virus among themselves in such widespread numbers? The only way to deal with a contagion is seal it off and let it run its course. If the do-gooders and world savers amongst the liberal utopian crowd wish to go in and treat the infected, then let them do so art their own risk.

I was against those two infected medical workers being brought back into the USA, and though supposedly cured, still think it was a horrific idea. If nothing else it desensitized the US public to the severity of this plague, and caused the idiots amongst the herd to think it was nothing the local hospital couldn't cure. Yeah, how many of the wondering plague bombs like Duncan who stagger into local emergency rooms are being treated in sealed hazmat facilities under strict protocol the way the two aid workers were? ZERO. I doubt there are 50 beds in the entire USA set up to deal with this effectively, every one else who comes into contact with a carrier will simply be fucked....

This is exactly what I started thinking.  While I'm still very concerned about ebola.  The more I hear about the enterovirus, I started wondering if ebola wasn't simply a shiny object to take our eye's off the messican's infesting the country illegally bringing on the rise of diseases we've been done with for quite some time.  Let's face it.  Ebola has only killed 3k in a complete shithole.  Would it be in the regime's best interest right now to have a bunch of people start croaking due to their direct lack of action to stop this right before the mid terms?  Hell no.  So is it possible that they let this go, knowing that this is not the train wreck strain that would kill a ton of us all to take our eye's off of the amnesty prizes infesting our country?

Yes John and there many more going on at present.

Just think of what has fallen off the radar that was alarming only weeks ago...

With apologies to Ann B., the insight is sound, the median is the point that 50% are above and below not the average. They can be very different numbers as not all bell curves are created equal.

I just hope I'm dead wrong. Not ready for that shit, wife, kids and all...

Glen Beck was on Fox News tonight, said he believes that this country is currently in a "Cold Civil War", he is saying to a very large audience exactly what I have been thinking for at least the past two years. It's really getting kinda spooky folks. We stocked up on another $400 worth of canned and dried soups this past weekend, ya never know  :tinfoilhat:

I know how you feel Jag, I think of my grandchildren, we have seven, what will become of them. Their parents don't have a fuken clue, my son has 4 kids, he thinks I'm just a paranoid old man, I do pray to God he is right.

And thats how they get away with everything, people care more about sports, celebrities, music and what new movie is coming out then whats actually going on. Going to bars and clubs is a distraction from reality too. Then they label you "paranoid", "nut job", "tin foil" etc to try to discredit you. People that cry over celebrities or yell at the t.v. over sports are truly lost and oblivious. These are thes ame people that believe the cops will/can protect them. People say alex jones is hyped up and goes crazy, but hes frustrated. Imagine looking out into the street and seeing a child standing in the middle of the road, now imagine seeing a dump truck at full speed heading directly towards the child, you try to warn the kid but they just stand there in a trance, now can you see why he gets so worked up about this stuff? Now everybodies worried about ebola? Alex jones put out a article on ways to prepare for a ebola outbreak back in 8/14, what was main stream media telling you? That ebola is african problem, it wont come to the u.s, everything is fine etc.alot of people are in for a rude awakening, they will deny the truth till the end.

Yup, ^^

Just getting into US medical care does not mean you are automatically going to survive this shit.

I wouldn't wish this kind of death on anyone ( except a few unnamed politicians ) but I'm glad to hear this guy didn't make it.

Now burn the carcass !

If there is even enough resources to get help. They cant hold everybodies hand, its logisticly imposible.

The most baffling fucking thing in the world to me is why we simply don't institute a complete ban on all flights arriving in the country from the infected nations. John Kerry said in his limp dick statement today that it was important the borders remained open ... WTF?

Think about this. If and when it becomes endemic and out of control THEN the chocolate Nero will close the borders.

US state borders that is. What a convenient way to declare Marshall law, control food, medicine and travel. Those 600 quadzillion rounds of ammo DHS sequestered will come in handy then as well as all those MRAPS etc, etc, Could even postpone the 2016 election so this faggot stays in office.

Tin foil thoughts maybe but with the shit that has occurred totally unchecked and allowed to occur without ZERO repercussions in the last 6 years it may not be so far fetched.

The most frightening aspect of this is they are probably confident they could get away with it!

And guess who will be enforcing these policies? Thats right cops and other gov goons. Cops need to wake up and realize that you will be enabling this. Cops/gov goons heres some reality..they dont care about you, your kids or your family. When a epidemic hits theyll send you in to the warzone to die! While they are relaxing, eating crab legs and lobster tails and just laugh at you while they are safe in a taxpayer funded bunker! Edited by vepr12x

The one nobody wanted to be right about.

It is not that someone caught it at all but that current protocols were followed, protective gear etc, and still she is infected.

So Mr."Head of CDC" tell us again how this virus is spread.

"rev" Jesse Jackson wants patient 0 to have been treated like every other American....I agree, if he was American. But he put everyone at risk by coming here to seek better American healthcare. I also agree with Jackson that all people traveling from west Africa should be equal....equally quarantined from landing foot on our soil. Thanks CDC for being so arrogant (or intentionally diabolical) about this.

This regime  has politicized EVERYTHING, they have made a concerted effort to make the citizens of this country feel as much pain as possible with every disaster that has come along since they seized power. THIS may prove to the very one that a lot of us have been preparing for, but I fear no amount of prepping will help for this  electric_shock.gif

The USS Comfort needs to be deployed off our eastern seaboard and used as a quarantine/treatment facility, this shit needs to be kept out of our healthcare system, or we very soon will not have one at all. I can see a situation where (like in Africa) healthcare workers refuse to show up.

As this spreads through our military ranks, we could loose the ability to defend ourselves, our beloved country could be in a real position of being taken from us, fuckme.
