Redbull215 0
What is the value of factory 30round polymer 7.62 mags? Edited October 11, 2014 by Redbull215
metalgodlb 30
Steel reinforced polymer or steel? Poly Izhmash or phenolic resin will fetch 60 plus from what I have seen. Not a whole lot seperates the Izzy steel mags from other soviet bloc mags tho. I've seen them for 20 bucks on up to 60 for brand new
cruising_37 2
I bought a steel 10 round mag for $35 on ebay.

metalgodlb 30
The ones with the stamped lines on them are the true ak 103 mags and will fetch over 100. The slab side are saiga mags from what I understand and must have the built in bullet guide taken out of them to use in a conventional AK variant
HighPlainsDrifter 466
There is a member on theakforum selling true 103 mags in good condition for $115. Legion usa has new slab sides for $75. Molot usa has metal mags for $30. Aimsurplus has bakelites for $35. If you ask me they are all overpriced. Such is life in the days of sanctions.
imarangemaster 315
The russian slabside polymer are great, but at about $13 each, you can get about 8 Tapco slabside polymers for the price of one. The new Tapcos pass the old K-Var polymer mag drop test as well as the circle 10s with steel re-enforcement . You can do Spetnez pushups on the rifle with the new Tapcos, also. It comes in black, orange, plum, and FDE (Dark Earth). Tapco has a lifetime warranty on them, also, IIRC. I used Tapco bodies to rebuild some of my "Legally possessed by me in California prior to 1-1-2000" metal that were banged up and/or rusty. Mullet Man 2,114
I sold four true black ribbed 103 mags for $400 shipped. Probably could have got $30-$40 more if I waited to drop the price but the buyers weren't there at the time I listed them at my originally higher asking price, so I lowered it. The ones Legion USA has listed on their site are Saiga specific mags. I had one that I got from Oleg (rusmilitary) a long time ago, that I removed the built in bullet guide on. I sold it for $75. From a rarity/originality perspective, they (103's) will command a premium. From a functional stand point, they do absolutely nothing better then Bulgarian circle 10's. They do feel nicer in the hand and are smoother and easier to insert and remove from mag pouches because they don't have the waffle pattern. And I don't think the 103's have the steel cage around the floor plate area, like circle 10's do. My rationale came down to quantity. Sell the 103's and acquire the same dollar amount in circle 10's.
