It's not "fair" that the homeowners have to live in fear of repeat home invaders. It's not "fair" that they got broken into yet again. It's not "fair that they have to go through the legal scrutiny that a shooting brings. It's not "fair" that they have to live with the fact that they took a life. It's not "fair" that they now have to live in fear of revenge. It's not "fair" that they have to pay to have those holes in the wall fixed.
