Boyd Crowder 16
So I was doing a conversion on one of my Saiga .308's and I ended up grinding off too much material on my safety lever. Im looking to buy a factory safety lever to replace it, can pay via pay pal or money order, I know this post should go in the WTB section and I did post one there but I thought more people would see it here, thanks. Deadeye 325
I have welded steel on both the 308 I have done. What part did you have to grind?

I had to file the bottom of the safety for my 308 when I converted it, sounds like you went a little too far. Just weld a bead across it, then grind/file it little by little until it just clears. Boyd Crowder 16
I dont have welding capibility unfortunately, if I cant find a factory lever I'll buy an enhanced lever from Krebs.

I'm betting it would much cheaper to have someone weld a bead on it..........
