RedRhino 75 Posted April 24, 2015 Report Share Posted April 24, 2015 There's still no GT it seems. I emailed the guy I got my saiga through, and he, at least,! still has probably 800-900 rounds. I bought 100 from him before when he said he had 1000. Would have bought more if I had known better. He's got a small shop in the middle of nowhere so I don't know how many people are wandering in to get x39. He's about an hour away from me but I'll probably go grab at least 400 rounds. There should be a Lot # with a two digit section that will tell you what year it was made. I'm curious how long they've been sitting on this. It seems like SGAmmo has been the only one with Golden Tiger for years. I don't know if they have any exclusive rights to it or if they just buy everything that is produced. It looks like your case was manufactured in 2009, so maybe 308Ammo bought this before SGAmmo took over as the apparently sole importer. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It's consistent, hotter than average, lacquer coated, non-corrosive and sealed on both ends. It has a lot going for it. That $70 breaks down to an extra 7 cents each. If I thought it would never show up again, I would recommend jumping on this if you don't already have some stocked away. However, I do hold out hope that Sam at SGAmmo will make this available again at a reasonable price, so I'm waiting.
