"KNIFE THROWING IN THE PROFESSIONAL STYLE" by: Harry K McEvoy, the dude who built thousands of good TRU-BAL true balance blades.

When you first start out, it helps to have double thick moving blankets behind a bale of hay and on the ground. Use a round of wood as your target.

The trick is to find the balance point on the blade every time by being consistent in your movements. Most people never stick to it and get real blades and try tricks. It's a dying art like magic.

Good luck!

p.s. if you ever see a rot punkt knife with a spray painted handle, buy it. The best throwing knives ever made.

Some people like to throw knives by the tip of the blade, i prefer to find the balance point and grab there and let it rotate on its axis when you let go. Never had much luck throwing underhanded but side throwing was doable to a certain degree. Throwing axes are the shit as well.
