Should I buy a new Saiga in 308 for 679.00 its been on the shelf for a while and the wont take any less, it has a 16 inch barrel. I would say new in the box but it has been handled a lot. Straight stock no mods . It was made or imported in 2009. I used to have a couple in 7.62 x 39 and .223 but I lost them in a terrible boating accident . I Really never wanted one in 308 but it breaks my heart to stare at it for months just sitting there . DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD PRICE ? I would appreciate your input . I cant find anything wrong with it no canted sights , not even a scratch on the mag catch. No I wont tell you were it is they only have one .

Some pawn shops are asking $799 for 15yr old used ones, still don't know if the pawn shop one is converted or not.

$679 for a NIB unconverted, with a couple hundred ppl putting their meat beaters all over it doesn't sound to to bad.

I never want to pay asking price tho...
