typoh929 0
So in my daily random internet browsing i came upon this trigger for AK's. Its definitely overpriced and i wouldn't want to go AR-15'ing my saigas but the curiosity struck me to see if anybody has tried one. Here's their website if anybody wants to look them up. https://tacconusa.com/products/view.php?id=
burntpowder 23
I could have sworn I read a thread about Tac-Con triggers on this very site not too long ago and I was right! http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/93681-way-better-than-bumping-the-tac-con-3mr-trigger/ Edited December 24, 2014 by burntpowder
typoh929 0
That thread was on the AR application which is cool. And i definitely believe that when compared to other AR triggers it might have its downfalls. I was just seeing if anybody had tried the AK specific trigger. Which when compared to the modified G2 or Red Star Arms triggers that get used on almost all conversions is very different.

pedal2alloy 206
The tread was from last month http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/95691-tac-con/

Fitty% 808
I have not yet but some friends of mine have. It doesn't seem to be much more effective then a well polished Tapco trigger with the trigger operator having good trigger control could do from the videos I've seen. Efltmann Tactical makes a great drop in trigger group for the AR and they will be sending me a drop in trigger for an AK/Saiga when they get another prototype made. With a nice clean and lubed G2 trigger group most everyone is running already as compliance parts, there's not really any call for this product. The G2 has a lighter pull, and a cleaner brake than most any factory AR15 trigger group as it is already.
Gzus Kryst 53
maybe if it wasnt so pricey, rather go G2 and send all your internals to cobra for less.
corbin 621
maybe if it wasnt so pricey Agreed. If they were $50 or so, then maybe. I polished my G2 group and it's plenty smooth and fast enough for me. I suppose if someone were trying to make a DMR or sniper setup, you could add take up and overtravel adjustments, but for just shooting fast, IMO, put the money toward ammo and PRACTICE turning money into noise, if you really want to shoot that quickly.
