Doctor Jelly 0
I recently picked up an XN and have put about 150 00 buck shells through it. So my first time disassembling it for cleaning, the seal sleeve popped off before I realized I needed to note the orientation. Now based on my presumptuous understanding of how the gas system works and the visual build up of deposits, I assume the flat cut side goes toward the gas block as opposed to the chamfered cut side (chamfers on both inner and outer edges). Could anyone fill me in on which way to reinstall the seal properly?
james lambert 3,059
It doesnt really matter, but I normally put the flat against the gas block
