rangerruck 0
hello folks , just found this place, very cool. i am getting a 223 this week and probably a 762.39 next week. does anyone know if the furniture from tapco , i.e. pistol grip and the t-6 adjustable stock fit the saigas? also wanting to get hi caps for the above, without mods to the rifle. Does tapco sell these, or do some of you folks here? i am very nervous about mod the mag well and would be afraid to screw up the job. unless someone out there has a pretty easy way to mod the mag well, say , by just grinding somewhere a very little, so that reg russian mags will fit. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. rangerruck
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Yes the tapco stuff will fit the Saiga. If you buy the Galil style handguard make sure to specify it's for a Saiga. There are a few different ways to use hi caps in the .223 This is a link that shows how to mod the gun to take normal mags. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=9030 This is one showing how to add a feedramp (very easy) to let you use slightly modded mags http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=8574 Here's another solution http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=8446 And I posted somewhere a while back on how to mod Bulgie 30rd mags to work if you have a feedramp. This is my preferred method for rock solid 100% dependable mags. Anyone know where that post is? Wolvie?
