anaxagoras 0
so long story short i have a spare exps3-0. I'm trying to come up with a gun to use it with or else give/sell it to my brother. The only thing I can think of is maybe throw it on my saiga 12. I have a full chaos titan rail on it and some hk style iron sights. I'm also waiting on a salvo 12 that's in nfa jail. My saiga 12 is my home defense shotgun and an occasional range toy, every now and again i bring it to shoot sporting clays but tbh i can't hit shit with it compared to some other shotguns I have so it's pretty rare i even take it out... Anyways, does it make sense to put the eotech on it?
forsaken352 235
I'll be your brother. Need my address for shipping? Yeah, it would work just fine, as far as I can tell, on a saiga 12.
Carsner86 18
I've heard off shells hitting it and causing jams don't recal what rail they were using or what eotech
Vance665 225
I ran a EoTech on my S-12 a few years, it was perfect IMO. Center dot for shooting slugs and the ring for shot. I had good luck shooting skeet with it too. I mounted it on a basic Chaos quadrail, so nothing was over the ejection area. Sold the EoTech with an AR during Sandy Hook but I will be getting another one for the Saiga.
sneaky 2
I have an Xps on mine. Like it a lot. Used to have it on a sidemount rail but it caused fte often. Just because it's kind of a wider sight so as long as you don't have it directly above the ejection port you should be good. Moved mine forward on a gas tube rail. Works great other than when shooting clays on really clear and bright days the circle dot washes out with the sunlight a bit.
HB of CJ 1,263
We have two, (2) Eotecks on our Saigas. The S12 has the aforementioned model with the bright red spot in the middle surrounded by a red circle. At around 20 yards anything inside the circle is toast. At longer range, slugs are nice also. IR rated. The Saiaga 308 has the Eoteck with the .308 specific hold over chevron type "vees" with the range shown on the side. IR rated. Both work fine. We have had no problems with the brass or cases hitting either the Eotecks or the UTG side rail mounts. HB of CJ (old coot)
