D.C.MORRISON 494
This should be a lesson to all the police. The system teaches them to think that they are special. That they will be treated differently than the GDP. Even after retirement. Not when it comes to weapons. After all, it's the communist way.

D.C.MORRISON 494
Thank you, Boomstick, that was a chuckle that i needed this morning. They need only look at the way many of our veterans are treated. Now and in the past.
DLT 1,646
I wouldn't call BS on some cops thinking that laws don't apply to them. I've had some genuinely get pissed off when I tell them I need them to fill out a 4473 for a transfer or sale. But the best is when they get delayed. Some totally have meltdowns. But the majority are good guys who aren't full of themselves.
james lambert 3,059
Read the story, nothing about police thinking they are above the law. a total screw up for sure, kinda what you expect from a state like NY with its socialist leadership . No "system" teaches LE they are any less expected to follow or be subject to the law than any other citizen. What happens in big east coast or west coast cities controlled by democrats voted in by liberals and welfare leaches, does not reflect the majority of police officers across the country. lbsrdi 1,078
Although I generally agree, it would seem that the 'majority' of the nations police are located in densely populated big cities, typically run by leftists.

lbsrdi 1,078
Cool joke, but what about the content of what I said? Are the 'majority' of officers located in cities?
james lambert 3,059
I dont know the statistics so I cant say I do know county by county and by landmass MOST of our country does not go along with what you find in the large corrupt metropolitan areas. I suspect county and municipal departments across the USA may outnumber the big cities
lbsrdi 1,078
I also do not know, and certainly agree with your second sentence.
VR762Shooter 838
Unfortunately, all it takes for the tide to swing is enough BS laws get passed in the liberal strongholds and then cops elsewhere see the opportunity and take advantage. Being from MA, I have seen first hand how the cops can be above the law. In recently passed gun control efforts the MA AWB was nullified if a person is current, former or retired police. Seems kinda hypocritical. Oddly most cops in our area don't even know the laws, but are willing to get themselves a free pass on them if they can. I have friends who are cops and they didn't even know the intricacies of the law until I explained it to them. Yet they are supposed to enforce them properly

The cesspools get bigger and claim more land every day.

Many wont do the unions bidding, especially when it comes to voting For what its worth...The firearms manufactured by me are banned in NY by name.
