patriot 7,197
My Twilight Years ~ Clint Eastwood As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end. There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more." No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat. It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood." So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this: I voted against that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical socialist, terrorist excusing, bleeding heart, narcissistic, scientific and economic moron currently in the White House! Participating in a gun buy-back program because you think that criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbors have too many kids. Regards, Clint Make my day—Pass it on! Note: Mr. Eastwood's name has been stricken because Mr. Saigus has declared Mr. Eastwood didn't write it. I am keeping this one.
XD45 7,124
It's funny. Clint didn't write it. That began circulating last year with no author attributed. At some point somebody added Clint's name at the bottom.
patriot 7,197
Who cares? It's still cool.
XD45 7,124
OK it's cool. So that makes lying about who said it OK. I love that phrase "who cares". But it's not a question, is it? Because those who say it don't really give a fuck who cares. What it means is "I don't care and therefore nobody else is allowed to." A lie is a lie. I'm betting Clint doesn't like people putting words in his mouth. Even if those words are "cool" to some people.

I'll make it very simple and give you the definition: rhe·tor·i·cal rəˈtôrək(ə)l/ adjective of, relating to, or concerned with the art of rhetoric. "repetition is a common rhetorical device" synonyms: stylistic, oratorical, linguistic, verbal "rhetorical devices" expressed in terms intended to persuade or impress. "the rhetorical commitment of the government to give priority to primary education" synonyms: extravagant, grandiloquent, magniloquent, high-flown, orotund, bombastic, grandiose, pompous, pretentious, overblown, oratorical, turgid, flowery, florid; More (of a question) asked in order to produce an effect or to make a statement rather than to elicit information. As far as lying...you should watch throwing that one around. Keyboards provide a LOT of insulation not available in person. Definition of LIEintransitive verb 1 : to knowingly make an untrue statement with intent to deceive Source please.... NOT Snopes.
