Sneak 81
Is it just me, or is it awkward to use the brace as intended? I can't seem to use the sights while keeping my arm in the brace, just feels weird. I either want to shoulder the brace (which, thanks to the most recent A T F letter, is a no-no), or remove it for a better sight angle. I threw on the Manticore Nightbrake - made a big help with recoil. The muzzle flash obscures the target for a moment.

Sneak 81
There's always the Form 1 option for SBR... It'd make a badass rifle. I know and it's really tempting at this point. Just not sure if I want to register it. Also limits me from taking it to see family out of state.
Joe**Dirt 21
It could look like this.
Deadeye 325
So is it legal to have a arm brace but not shoulder it?
gunfun 3,931
The current stance of the BATF is that it is not legal to shoulder it. They have yet to get any court ruling to support their contradictory logic, but you can no longer rely on the old letters to protect you from them.
671saiga 27
Still left my sb47 brace on my mini draco, I can still shoot it using as a cheek rest....but of course not touching your shoulder:(. But hey if nobody's looking you can still shoot it using the cheek rest....
