I like it. Four stars **** !  Mike

https://youtu.be/grJlpuMvFms   Five stars for lyrics alone (with one deduction for wardrobe). Four Stars **** !  Mike     ...agreed. His wardrobe choices have greatly matured since those days.

And before I got so conveniently interrupted yesterday...     Radio edit.  Beeped out "dick" and "blow" in the song.   I know Amy is not everyone's cup of tea.  I wonder if she portended her

With all the fuss about Lemmy passing away, we almost forgot about Mr. Wieland. unsure.png

I know STP/Velvet Revolver/etc. wasn't everybody's cup of tea, but I kind of liked this one from their first album.

You can call it a woman's primer for what might happen if she goes on a date with Gaddis.:lol:

Hello

I'm kind of a dinosaur, no electronic music, just CD's, like the dynamic range and shit, but would like to give a shout out to the two "Voodoo Chile's"- Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray. Not only for their guitar mastery and (particularly Jimi) groundbreaking ideas, but their amazing humility and down-to-earth attitudes in the face of stardom.

Play on, Voodoo Chile's,,,,,The Heavens are surely rockin'!

Jimi Hendrix was once asked: "how does it feel to be the best guitar player in the world?" his response: "I don't know you would have to ask Rory Gallagher". I was lucky once to see him in concert many years ago in Houston. Phenomenal.

Hello

I caught him at Atlanta Pop Festival outside Macon on Saturday, July 4th 1970. He requested everybody to stand before he kicked down the most mind-blowing "Star Spangled Banner" of any version I've heard.

Many don't know that Jimi was a Veteran and played that out of respect.

Shit, Jimi Hendrix,  Fourth of July, Saturday night, this 14 yr. old kid was in heaven! Also saw the Allman Bros. first national concert there.

RIP (Rock In Peace) "in the next world," Jimi

I was in high school living in NOLA at the time. A group of us were asked by a promoter if we wanted to go to Atlanta to help as gofers/crew. When we were told we would not be paid, only food and shelter we told them no way. Tried to entice us by indicating we would get to meet some of the musicians. When you are a teenager and broke, all you think of is the bottom line.

I used to dig Accept too, until I stated reading up on their song lyrics.

Granted, taking into account a chick (Deaffy (Gaby (Hauke) Hoffman)) did write pretty much all of them. huh.png

Reaching under a man's cloak to feel the stainless steel of his sword (losing more than you ever had) is not the same when a dude (porky Udo Dirkschneider) is singing them.

Hello

Hope this works...Anyone who can appreciate some truly kick-ass bottle-neck slide guitar will maybe enjoy Ron Wood w/ Rod Stewart (Small Faces circa 1969/1970) after leaving Jeff Beck. This number was also done with Jeff, but lacked the edginess that Mr. Wood provides it....
