TxAgSaiga1979 16
Just curious if you have considered adding windows a la pmag? At a cursory glance, seems a milled slot with a plastic insert could be an easy way to add this functionality. Thoughts? Issues?
KennyFSU 249
I'm a fan of windowed/see-through mags, please make this happen.
jimdigriz 580
Windows don't go with steel magazines.
Spacehog 2,218
I buy steel mags for the... wait for it....steel. I don't want to see that weakened with cut outs and polycarbonate windows just so others can see how many rounds I have in my magazine. JMHO
csspecs 1,987
You don't see many steel magazines with windows. Reason for that is it is complicated to keep plastic stuck to metal. I can put holes in magazines fairly easy, but they are just going to be holes. Any ideas on what you would want? I can make a couple and slip them in a batch, if they are well liked we can make more.. Just understand that the holes will be weak points and pinch points while shooting, especially if they are large. Our M77 magazines will all be coming with a hole at full capacity, its actually required by the design and is used for making the magazine.
philrab 57
Been boying with the idea of "windowing" my AK Pmags. Wish Magpul would quit screwing around and make "maglevel" models of their AK mags. But, nothing me and my dremel can't fix.
TxAgSaiga1979 16
Actually holes wouldn't be too bad, sort of like a Glock or M&P magazine.
gunfun 3,931
small witness holes on the back would be OK with me, but I wouldn't want a big window. i.e. .125" or smaller holes staggered off center line.
