NRAJOE 0
I have two AK-47's...a SAR-1 and an SLR101S Hi-Cap with the green furniture... At a local pawn shop, they have 2 Saiga shotguns for $229 each. One is a 20ga, and one is a .410. Tell me about them...any ammo to stay away from? Will they be able to be con verted to pistol grip configuration after the AWB sunsets? Websites with neat add ons for them? Etc...etc...etc. I don't know why I need them, other than I can! Thanks. BattleRifleG3 16
Yes, you can do the P-grip conversion after the ban dies. If I had an FFL, I'd say send it my way and I'll do it for you.
NRAJOE 0
Wow! Can't get away from you anywhere! Well, get ta gettin that FFL man! Those two shotguns are calling to me, but I don't wanna blow my gunshow money for May 22 in Bowling Green,Oh. Keep thinking I'll find something there, but don't wanna lose them shotguns if I don't find anything! What a dilemma! I'd like to start with a SAIGA-12 but none to be found so far..... BattleRifleG3 16
CDNN wholesales Saiga 12s at $199, Add $15 or less shipping and $20-25 FFL fee and you may equal the price of the 20ga after tax (and transfers shouldn't be taxed) www.cdnninvestments.com
KySoldier 2
Watch out for fixed choke models that they sell. If you want, get one with the longer barrel and fixed choke like they sell cheap and have a gunsmith chop off the barrel. Then you'll have an 18" barrel and no choke. kmoore 3
I've got a 20 ga that I've had for roughly a year. I've loved it, shot flawlessly after I cleaned the packing grease off of it. that's slugs, stout field loads and light field loads. I picked up 3 extra mags so I have a total of 4. 2 of the 3gun events I've gone to (out of 5) have not allowed 20ga, so I've got my eye on the 12ga. If you decide that you want to go with a 20ga, I'm looking to sell mine. First I'm offering it locally (Virginia) thru my circle of shooting buddies and an instate mailing list. My price is $225, which should be pretty good given that the mags are now going for $25. You can have it at that price now if you want to pay shipping. If it doesn't sell locally, I'll offer it up on the internet here and several other boards and I'll eat the shipping (if you want to play the waiting game). Let me know if you are interested.
