I ,have no desire or current need to change platforms but I am concerned about spare parts in the future. In addition to the cost of the gun itself, the two high dollar parts on my gun is the side charging handguard and the aluminum lower receiver. Assuming the current XN guns and their parts will still be available in the future, will I be able to use my current lower in an XN gun? And can my handguard be modified to work in an XN gun? toothandnail 275 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 Actually our products will fit all 3 models Pre-XN, XN, & Match. Our early model forends were Pre-XN only, after the XN came out we have transitioned them over to a universal fit. The Side Charger forend is model specific( Pre-XN or XN/Match) due to the different length gas systems. The lower will fit the first 2 models, pretty sure Match can easily be machined to fit as well - doing testing on 3 this week. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
