JESS1344 508
GUYS FYI.... The ATF’s statement specified that the exemptions for 5.56 mm (.223) SS 109 and M855 ammo, and for the U.S .30-06 M2AP bullet, “remain in effect.” But the agency is accepting public comment until March 16 on its proposal regulation to ban the ammunition. A majority of House lawmakers sent a letter to the ATF last week in opposition to the move. Rhodes1968 1,638
Yeah they are very sorry they got caught. Yet like other things done these last years just because people are solidly against it means nothing.
JESS1344 508
GUYS, I THINK THE ATF/OBOLA MISUNDERESTIMATED THE GROUNDSWELL, BOTH FROM THE PUBLIC AND CONGRESS, AGAINST THIS, AND HAVING GOTTEN THEIR FINGERS BURNT, ARE WALKING THIS CRAP BACK, A HALF-STEP AT A TIME, THIS WOULD REPRESENT THE FIRST HALF-STEP. Bigtwin 219
Probably just testing the waters, I don't believe the "mistake" aspect. Now they are back pedaling!
Ronin38 2,117
Oh, I'm sorry ATF, but Congress "mistakenly" defunded your sorry asses as an add-on to that last "fluff" bill they sent through the pipeline. I wish... Edited March 10, 2015 by Ronin38
